The pneumatic actuation deluge alarm valves are used at high freezing risk, dry systems. The deluge valve’s triggering is done with an air pressure sensitive automatic pilot valve.
The dry type deluge alarm valve works hydro-pneumatic in the system.
With the possible air pressure reducing in the system (situations like sprinkler blow out) the pneumatic pilot valve opens the deluge valve up rapidly and conducts the water to the sprinkler system.
Because the pneumatic pilot valve is latch type, the deluge valve sets itself up automatically.
The equipments like mechanical alarm gong, pressure sensors can be mounted on the deluge valve’s body.
With the alarm test valve or the other sensors mounted on the valve’s body can be tested.
There is an emergency release valve for opening up the valve manually at emergency situations.
The pressure gauges that show the system entrance pressure and the actuator pressure, mounted on the trim set.
STAND-BY MODE
WHEN THE PNEUMATIC PRESSURE IN THE SYSTEM IS APPLIED TO THE DELUGE VALVE’S PNEUMATIC PILOT VALVE, THE MAIN VALVE CLOSES ITSELF UP IMPERMEABLE.
OPENING UP MODE
WITH REDUCING THE PNEUMATIC PRESSURE IN THE SYSTEM AND THE CONTROL PANEL’S SENDING AN ELECTRICAL SIGNAL TO THE SOLENOID VALVE, THE DELUGE VALVE OPENS ITSELF UP AND CONDUCTS.
MANUALLY OPENING UP MODE
WHEN THE EMERGENCY RELEASE VALVE MOUNTED ON THE DELUGE VALVE’S TRIM SET, IS TAKEN TO THE OPENED UP POSITION THE DELUGE VALVE OPENS ITSELF UP.
